About EMEN Software Package Downloads
EMEN has now been in use at the NCMI for roughly three years, and is used routinely for all projects in the lab. The basic installation and full documentation will be provided free of charge to other interested research groups. Installation and setup should take only a few hours for a minimally experienced system administrator. The database server has been tested both on Linux and Windows 2000/XP machines, and is likely to work on most other platforms. Initially we will provide EMEN to other groups upon request (sludtke@bcm.tmc.edu). When we feel most major features are complete it will be made available for download with all other NCMI produced software.
