Installation

AIRS is included with EMAN 1.70 and newer. See Download section for more information.

1. Download the latest version of EMAN and Chimera. Install as recommended.

2. After installing EMAN and Chimera, launch Chimera.

3. Click on the “Favorites” tab in the menu bar and select “Preferences”.

4. In the category menu, select “Tools”.

5. Below “Locations”, click on the “Add” button. Select the chimeraext directory in your EMAN directory. Click “Open”.

6. Click “Save” and exit Chimera.

7. When Chimera is launched again, AIRS and EMAN tools will be available in the “Tools” menu-bar.
