3D Scatter Plot
This is a 3d scatter plot. Several symbols are available, and symbol size can be set. Due to the increased number of polygons that must be drawn, this plot is much slower than an equivalent surface plot in interactive mode.
This is a surface plot of some data (the scatter plot in red) with a partially fit gaussian surface (in grey).
