Reoviridae





Reoviridae is unique in that its members contain a dsRNA genome of 10-12 segments. It consists of the genera:

  1. Orthovirus
  2. Orbivirus
  3. Rotavirus
  4. Cypovirus
  5. Phytovirus
  6. Fijivirus
  7. Aquareovirus
  8. Coltivirus
  9. Oryzavirus

This lab concentrates on the study of rotaviruses.
