AUTO
July 11 1996: updated version V1.2 of AUTO now available!
Version 1.2 of AUTO is presently available for public usage.
AUTO is a suite of FORTRAN 77 programs each embedded in C shell
scripts that allows for the automatic processing of electron diffraction
patterns with the MRC-file structure (Medical
Research Council, Cambridge, U.K.).
This package contains additional code to create the libraries needed to
read and write the MRC-files properly.
Each of the programs called by AUTO performs a task designed at
obtaining a list of reliable intensities from electron diffraction patterns.
None of the programs in AUTO require the X Window System.
NOTES:
- When you download the AUTO package, please send me e-mail,
so I have an idea how many people obtained it, and also to facilitate
notifying all users of future updates -
jbrink@bcm.tmc.edu.
- AUTO has been successfully compiled for SGI's IRIX 5.3.
- Unpack the archives using 'uncompress archive.Z', followed by 'tar -xvf
archive'.
- The AUTO package contains notes on installation and hints
on usage.
- Definitions for AUTO are provided for the following platforms: SGI,
Alliant, Stardent, Evans & Sutherland, and SUN.
