Folder Name: GroEL
Folder Description:
GroEL is the canonical group I chaperonin, forming a homo 14-mer consisting of 2 back-to-back 7 membered rings. It has been studied by several different groups, and as there are several crystal structures available as well, has served as a control specimen for cryo-EM, to demonstrate the technique's veracity as well as providing new biological information.
For the challenge, we include several structures at different resolutions by different groups, permitting application of different techniques and cross-comparisons across resolutions.
