The 4.3Å closed density map was segmented by XXXX. SSEhunter was run to determine helices and sheets while Psipred was used to obtain the corresponding secondary structure prediction. From the SSE prediction Chimera’s “Build Structure” tool was used to construct the atoms with correct geometry. The long helix (residues 254-279) was placed into the map using “Fit in Map” and positions of neighboring helices were used to determine direction. De novo methods were used in Gorgon to construct the model from the long helix to the C-terminus and from the long helix to the N-terminus. Using SSEhunter as a guild, helices and short loops were placed in the lower domain. Additional loops were added to connect the stronger features.
