Submission Comments

The 4.5Å density map was obtained from the NCMI database, as was the previously solved structure (EMDB: 3C5B). The asymmetric unit was docked into the map and a single subunit of density was isolated using an 8Å zone. SSEhunter was run to determine helices and sheets while Psipred was used to obtain the corresponding secondary structure prediction. From the SSE prediction Chimera’s “Build Structure” tool was used to construct the atoms with correct geometry. The long helix was utilized as an anchor point and the remaining model was traced with Gorgon through the density using de novo methods. The large β-sheet composed of 5 strands still needs refinement.
